It's not the busiest of mobile poker rooms but they certainly never stop innovating. I had abandoned Switch Poker in favour of Terminal Poker a few months back but I'm going to give them another go now that they've introduced a multi-table view for the ipad. You could always play at more than one table at a time but now you can see the four tables simultaneously on your iPads screen. When it's your turn to play the particular table is highlighted. A really neat feature if you don't like to wait around folding bad hands.
This is brilliant news for anyone who has tried to play texash hold'em at more than one table on the ipad before. Switching between Safari tabs is a bit of a nightmare so being able to view the 4 tables at once is really great.
888 have now updated both their iOS and Android poker clients to include multi-table tournaments. They are now one of the few real money poker apps to offer ring games, Sit & Go and Multitable tournaments. To celebrate the occasion, 888 are running a series of free-roll tournaments with a prize pool in excess of $50k. The app can be downloaded from 20 iOS European countries.
It seems odd that this small mobile poker room was able to introduce multi-table play a couple of years ago on Android, iPhone or iPad devices yet major poker rooms like 888 and PartyPoker still haven't been able to introduce this technology to their poker apps.
Multi-table play also works surprisingly well. We were a little sceptical when we read about it but it works great. On the iPad you can fit four tables on the screen simultaneously while you can Switch between tables with just a swipe on your phone. The app makes a beep when it's your turn to play at a particular table.
The newly updated Ladbrokes poker app for Android and iOS devices now also supports multi-tabling on more than one table.
Due to the unfortunate close of SealsWithClubs, SwitchPoker is now the only mobile poker site that accepts Bitcoin as a payment method.
Switch Poker were one of the first mobile poker websites to accept bitcoin. Unfortunately, they've now removed bitcoin from their list of accepted deposit and withdrawal options. If you're interested in playing bitcoin poker on your phone, you should check out this thread that discusses the best bitcoin poker apps.
i can't believe this mobile poker site is still in existence give how little traffic they've been getting from day one. i guess they benefit from the fact that there are no real money poker apps for microsoft lumia/windows phone devices.
they should covert the poker room to a US friendly bitcoin site. they simply can't compete as a regular texas hold'em mobile poker room.
