BetOnline belong to the Chico poker network, which is the third biggest U.S. friendly poker network after Ignition/Bovada Poker and the Winning Poker Network. In late 2016 BetOnline made a major upgrade to both their PC and Mac poker clients that boasted a whole range of new features. They've now turned their attention to mobile poker and have announced the imminent arrival of a real-money poker client. Since BetOnline service real-money players from the United States, it is highly unlikely that they will be releasing a native poker app for the iTunes App Store. It is far more likely that it will be a browser-based poker app that players can install from the Safari, Chrome or Edge browsers of their Android, iOS or Windows Phone devices. Currently Android and iPhone poker enthusiasts in the USA have very few options. Carbon Poker no longer accept new U.S. players and Americas Cardroom are still in the process of developing an app. This means that Ignition/Bovada is currently the only real-money mobile poker client available to them unless they want to try playing bitcoin poker. Unfortunately, the Ignition Poker app is relatively basic and does not offer poker tournaments. If BetOnline have developed a poker app that supports cash games, Sit & Go's and tournaments, they have a great opportunity to increase their market share in the United States. BetOnline have not given a specific date for the launch yet but it's expected in the coming weeks. UPDATE: BETONLINE MOBILE POKER IS NOW AVAILABLE DOWNLOAD: WWW.BETONLINE.AG/MOBILEPOKER
I hope American Cardroom speed up the development of their app.American players need more option to play poker right now were very limited with a few poker apps. Having another one would create a good competition and will surely have a service upgrade just to maintain their lead.
