Can anyone recommend a Royal Ascot app?

Royal Ascot has to be my favourite race meeting of the year. I love Cheltenham and Aintree but there is something about that 5 days of racing every June that is special. I won't make it myself this year but is there any dedicated Royal Ascot iPhone app that would let me watch the races for free?

There isn't any specific Royal Ascot app that will let you watch all the racing live but Royal Ascot racecourse do have their own free app that you might find useful. It features racecards and results from Ascot as well as starting prices, form, raceday fixtures and timetables. There's also a couple of additional features like an interactive map that lets you explore the racecourse and find deals on drinks and meals. Just do a search for Royal Ascot on iTunes and you should be able to find it.

It's a nice app considering it's free but unless you're actually going to the Ascot Racecourse itself there is very little here that you won't find from one of the betting apps. If you download the Paddy Power, Bet365 or BetVictor apps you will still get detailed racecards but you will also be able to watch the Royal Ascot horse racing live on your iPhone by placing a small wager from £0.50 to £1 per race.

The BBC were streaming Royal Ascot via their iPhone and iPad iPlayer apps which meant I got so see most of the big races. Really great free service for horse racing fanatics like myself. ;) It's a shame that Channel 4 have got the rights for next years Cheltenham, Aintree and now Royal Ascot because I don't think they stream from their iOS apps.

I made some risk free money thanks to Sky Bet. They were offering a free £10 Royal Ascot bet to anyone who opened an account and you didn't even need to make a deposit. Black Caviar didn't run the best race of its life but I made a handy few quid on it.

Does anyone know if they is an official Royal Ascot app for either iPhone or Android? I've checked ascot.co.uk but I can't find any mention of one, which seems a little odd.
