A brand new sports tipping app has been released that offers betting advice on thousands of soccer, basketball and rugby fixtures from around the globe. Rather than using a team of in-house tipsters, the app relies on its users to contribute their knowledge by leaving tips for specific matches. Live betting odds are provided by major bookies like PaddyPower and William Hill, which enables users to see how profitable their picks are. League tables show which users have been most successful picking winners, giving your the opportunity to bet on their current tips if you wish.

The app is free to download and use and is currently available for iOS and Android devices.

Here is a pretty cool video demonstration of the Tipday iPhone and Android app in action...

That's a really nice sports tipping app. It's a shame it doesn't also include horse racing. On a day to day basis I think there are more racing bets placed than on other sports so it would make sense to add it. The OLBG tips app has a strong focus on horse racing.

I'm surprised one of the mobile bookmakers haven't already integrated this type of technology into one of their apps. I think it would encourage users to place more bets if they were able to follow winning tipsters.

i think tipday need to do a better job at marketing their app and getting more new tipsters to join. if you look at the most "popular" upcoming event, they all have less than 100 tips while all of the "upcoming" games have zero tips. unless they can improve these numbers quickly the app will fail.

The "News" page of their website hasn't been updated since January so I suspect they may already have gone out of business, which would be a real shame.

the link to the app store no longer works either so i think they've gone bust. it's a shame really because i think it was good competition for the olbg app.
