Hi When I owned a HTC Droid last year I used to love playing Full Tilt Poker's Rush Mobile Poker app until the U.S. FEDS shut them down. Since then I've switch to the iPhone and would like to know if there is any kind of similar app that offers fast paced speed poker on the iPhone. Mike
Hi Mike Have you tried the Terminal Poker app. They currently offer a high speed poker format that is very similar to Rush Poker from Full Tilt. The app is compatible with the iPhone, iPad or any Android smartphone. I don't think there are any other speed poker apps but it is always worth checking here for updates. Sebastian
What I really like about the Terminal app is that you can take part in hourly freerolls. Most of them are pretty small although there's a cpl of big ones at the weekends worth a few hundred dollars.
There are a lot of new stories whizzing around that PokerStars are in negotiations with the Department of Justice in the United States to buy Full Tilt Poker. If PokerStars can close this deal then there is little doubt that the Rush Poker Mobile app will be rereleased for iPhones and iPads.
Terminal Poker are also now offering over 50 MTT's every day from either Android or iOS devices. This is in addition to the freeroll tournaments they run also run daily.
Full Tilt Poker will be relaunching again in November so maybe we'll also see a return of the Rush Poker app then. Whoop Whoop!
