Newsweek recently ran an interesting article asking whether Bitcoin would make online poker, sports betting and casino gambling legal in the United States. A new poker room called Infiniti Poker have started accepting real money players from the United States who would like to fund their accounts using Bitcoins. Since Bitcoin users won't be using any United States banks, many believe that the operators or players won't doing anything illegal or wrong.

Now that Bitcoin poker rooms are starting to come on stream for United States players, surely it's only a matter of time before some U.S. friendly Bitcoin sportsbooks and casinos begin to appear.

 

I think fluctuations in Bitcoin value is always going to be a problem.
