Are there any United States racebook apps for the iPhone?

    Hey Everyone

I'm really hoping someone can help me with this. I live in U.S. so I'm not able to use any of the big European betting apps like Bet365 or William Hill. Therefore my options are kinda limited. I'm interested in finding a horse race betting app that allows players from the United States.

I would need to be able to bet on lines from Belmont Park, Churchill Downs, Del Mar, Saratoga and Hollywood Park. Being able to place Doubles, Quinellas, Exactas and Trifectas from my iPhone would be a bonus.

    Many Thanks
    Mark

With this years Kentucky Derby just around the corner I've been asking myself the same question. I checked out the new Bovada app and although it doesn't have a full racebook you can place bets on the Kentucky Derby via the iphone app. I think they only feature big races like the Preakness Stakes, the Belmont Stakes and the Kentucky Derby. If you want to place mobile bets on day to day racing in the States then it looks like the Bookmaker app is the only option right now.

If anyone finds another horse race betting app for iPhones that welcomes U.S. bettors I'd love to hear about it.

Well I just placed a bet on todays Kentucky Derby from my iPhone using the Bookmaker app. Worked well. Maybe not as slick as the Paddy Power app but I'm not complaining. I got odds of 4/1 on Bodemeister which compares pretty favourably to what the likes of Bet365 were offering. Overall it's a good horse race betting app for anyone in the USA. 4/5 Stars

Try going to www.horseracesnow.com where you will find something you will love. Kenny and I developed this app for the iPhone (eventually we will be coming out with a version for Android). It's not a wagering app, but if you have accounts with any of the wagering sites we feature, you can take advantage of them. With HorseRacesNOW, you can select your favorite horse, trainer, jockey, or racetrack and you will receive unique push notifications for when there is an entry, 15 minutes to post, 1 minute to post, when the quick results are available, and when the full charts and video replays are ready. Live video is available for 23 racetracks so far, and we are adding more every day.

Check it out and spread the word!

As a racing fan I'm really surprised that only Bookmaker have added a racebook section to their mobile app given that horse race gambling in the U.S. must be worth billions every year.

It is hard to fathom why more mobile U.S. sportsbooks like Bovada or Bovada don't update their mobile sites to include horse racing from the United States. Surely the revenues they'd earn from the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes the and Belmont Stakes alone would cover the cost of investment. Almost $200 million alone is gambled on the Breeders Cup every year. It's very frustrating that there is only one option currently open to mobile horse race bettor in the U.S.

Yes, BetOnline have updated their mobile client to include a racebook that offers odds from most United States racetracks. Bet Online are a U.S. friendly online sportsbook whose app is compatible with iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Windows Phone devices. Read our full BetOnline Review

Awesome news. It's about time one of the U.S. facing racebooks developed a proper mobile site for American horse racing fans.

Does anyone know if Bovada plan to add a horse racing section to their sportsbook app?

Bovada currently do take bets on major horse races via their mobile app. Their "Futures" anitpost betting section offers lines on races like the Cheltenham Gold Cup, The Preakness Stakes, the Aintree Grand National and the Kentucky Derby.

If you're looking to bet on regular day-to-day races from the United States then you should check out our horse racing page which lists very U.S. friendly horse race betting app http://www.iphonebettingapps.com/horse-racing.html

Before you place a bet on a particular horse, it's always advisable to check the racing form and if possible watch videos of the horse running in previous races. That is why we think this new America's Best Racing app is so useful for horse race betting in the US. It has a video database of every US thoroughbred horse race that you can watch on your iPhone, Android or iPad for free. Next time someone gives you a tip you can see for yourself how good the horse is before you place a bet. The video database goes from 2010 right up the present day. Did we mention it's free?

Which of the UK bookmakers will be offering the best odds and free bet offers for the Cheltenham festival?

Most of the UK bookies guarantee the best SP so there won't be much of a difference in terms of odds. Many of them do offer special sign-up bonuses to coincide with Cheltenham. Here are just a few...

Paddy Power - Bet €10 and PaddyPower will give you €30 worth of free Cheltenham bets - Full Details
Coral - Coral are offering 7/1 odds on Sprinter Sacre winning the Champion Chase to new sign-ups - Full Details

Betoline offer some pretty decent daily rebates on US horse racing. You'll receive a 4% rebate on all horse racing bets placed from an iPhone or Android the following day. None of the big British bookmakers offer anything like that.

BetOnline now accept bitcoin, which offers huge advantages for anyone betting on horse racing from the USA. Bitcoin payouts are processed within 48hrs so you don't have to wait around for weeks to receive a check or bank wires.

bovada did a really big revamp last year but i was disappointed that they didn't use the opportunity to add horse racing to their mobile site. they offer a full racebook on their website but not on their web-app.

Bovada are primarily a sports betting site. While they offer betting lines on U.S. horse racing, I don't think it's their area of expertise. Most serious horse racing punters probably use BetOnline. BetOnline offer better odds on horse racing, there's a daily rebate and you can wager from any iPhone, Android or Windows Phone. Plus they accept U.S. citizens. Here's more about their racebook app http://www.iphonebettingapps.com/betonline-us-mobile-racebook.html
