If you live in Australia, you are probably more than aware that pretty much every single major online poker site has exited the Australian poker market. Real money poker players from Australia are no longer welcome at PokerStars, PartyPoker, BetOnline or Americas Cardroom. So where can the average poker player from Australia play a few hands of Texas Hold'em on this iPhone or Android phone? Sadly there aren't that many options left, however, we are glad to report that there are 1 or 2 poker rooms left that continue to operate in Australia. Our favorite is Ignition Casino Poker but we'd love to hear of any more that you are aware off.

    • Part of the a major international network so you'll be playing against players from the USA, Canada and Latin America since Chico is also home to Bodog and Bovada.
    • iPhone and Android users can play cash games, Sit N Go tournaments and high-speed poker by simply visiting their site from your phone or table. There is no need to download and app and it works great.
    • Deposit in seconds using your debit/credit cards or with bitcoin.
    • Top quality software that is available for PC, Mac, iOS or Android.

Because both the Winning Poker Network and the Chico Poker Networks decided to withdraw from Australia. It is basically the decision of the poker networks rather than the individual poker rooms so they didn't have a choice.

For those interested in finding the best legal poker rooms in Australia, this guide is pretty good
