The world of mobile gambling is certainly changing rapidly in the United States. Thanks to HTML 5 apps, sportsbooks, casinos and poker rooms no longer need to get their apps into the US App Store. Gambling companies are increasingly turning to this new technology that allows them to offer games which can be played from any Safari (iOS), Chrome (Android) or Internet Explorer (Windows Phone) browser. These games look exactly the same as their native app counterparts and offer the same advanced gaming features.

Last March we welcomed the first U.S. friendly casino when Drake opened their door to U.S. citizens. Now Bodog and Bovada are the latest gambling giant to offer iOS and Android compatible slots and table games to their players in the U.S.A.

Considering they've only recently entered the market, we've been very impressed with the variety and quality of the games being offered at The best part is you don't even need to download an app so the games can be played on any phone regardless of whether you are using a Galaxy Note, Nokia Lumina, BlackBerry 10 or iPhone 5S.

A selection of slots, video poker and table games like roulette and blackjack can be enjoyed from any interned enabled tablet or handset.

Great news, it's about time US gamers got a bit of choice when it comes to poker and casino games. Just a couple of questions, do they offer any type of no deposit bonus that would allow me to try the apps first before I hand over my credit card details?

Also, how trustworthy and secure are these guys? Will my money be safe with them?

Hey Dice Man, good question. We're alway concerned about the security of our personal information and funds too with any new mobile casino. The good news about Bovada is that they're not based in some small offshore tax haven that nobody's ever heard of before. Here are a few reason why you can trust this USA iOS/Blackberry/Windows Phone/Android casino.
    • They are owned by the Australian based Merge Gaming Network which is one of the largest online poker networks in the world.
    • They were established way back in 2007 and have since earned an excellent reputation for safety and security.
    • They are fully licensed and regulated by the Curacao eGaming who independently supervise and audit the company to ensure integrity. Curacao have been in operation since 1996.
    • Carbon use SSL 128-bit encryption to ensure your financial and personal data is fully encrypted and protected at all times. Their software is also certified by Twarte.
    • Since the company was founded they have safely processed credit card transactions of over 600,000 customers.

Impressive. I count about 20 different slots and table games and they all loaded fast on my iPad Mini. It's also nice that you can switch easily between their mobile sportsbook, Texas Hold'em app and casino games.

At the moment their "Reel Sports Slots" jackpot is running at over a million dollar :-o

Yes their jackpots are usually over a million dollars which is quiet a windfall for whoever wins it.

I'd also like to mention that they've updated their U.S. friendly Texas Hold'em app to include Sit & Go tournaments. Up until recently they only offerd their mobile players the change to play No Limit Hold'em and Fixed Limit Hold'em ring games on iPhone, Android (Samsung, Google, Motorola), iPad and Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Now players from around the world, including the United States, can enjoy playing Sit-N-Go tournaments on their tablets and phones.

This news made my day :) Finally a poker app for US players that offers Sit and Go tournaments. Does each poker and casino game come as a separate app or can I download them all together?

All the different options are available from just one app and you can easily switch between sections to place a sports bet, play a few hands of texas hold'em or try your luck at the blackjack table.

You can try their online and mobile casino games for free if you're clever and take advantage of their welcome bonuses. New sign-ups get a $25 free bet that can be used at any of their slots or table games. In addition, when you play the iPhone/Android games for the first time they'll give you a $25 initial wager.

Fans of High Stakes Blackjack in the US can now play it on their smartphones at Carbon. They've also added a bunch of other real money games, including Casino Hold'em and Three Card Poker during the last update of their mobile software.

does the carbon casino app run freeroll casino tournaments?

Unfortunately, the Bovada casino app does not currently feature tournaments. If you live in the United States then we'd recommend you try Drake Casino who run daily free rolls, blackjack, slots and poker tournaments via their iOS and Android app http://www.iphonebettingapps.com/drake-united-states-iphone-and-android-casino.html

is anybody else having problems withdrawing money from carbon casino? i've been waiting over a month now for my payout to be processed, which is not cool. i know that gamblers in the united states have to wait longer but this is ridiculous.

Yes, many US and ROW based players are reporting waiting times of 3+ months for their payouts to be processed. This is the case with Carbon Poker, Carbon Sports and Carbon Casino.

For this reason we are recommending that United States gamblers instead opt for Bovada/Bodog who have an unblemished record when it comes to speedy withdrawals http://www.iphonebettingapps.com/bovada-mobile-casino-for-usa-gamers.html

I like the new design of the bovada app. They seem to have added some new mobile casino too. I don't remember seeing 21 Blackjack and Tri Card poker there before.

do bovada accept real money gamblers from every state in the USA? are there restrictions in places like New York and elsewhere?

Bovada do not accept poker players from Delaware or Nevada but I don't think there are any restrictions if you just want to play casino games on your iPhone/Android.

Bovada recently shut-down their poker room. Will Bovada casino be staying open?

Yes, the online and mobile casino at Bovada will be staying where it is. For some reason the U.S. government has a serious hard-on against online poker. Gambling at online casinos and sportsbooks is tolerated so they haven't been forced to move these to a different shell company.
