I've stopped playing at Carbon Poker because it's impossible to withdraw money by bank wire or check at the moment. As a results I've been looking for a mobile poker alternative that welcomes US players without much success. Is there any way to play BlackChip Poker or Americas Cardroom on an iPad or Android tablet?
The Winning Poker Network, which is home to Black Chip, Americas Cardroom, YaPoker and True Poker, are currently in the process of developing a web app. We have been told that development of the instant play poker app is nearly complete and that it will be available in the coming months. Americas Cardroom is the biggest room on the US friendly poker network so the app will be available on their site first. IMPORTANT: `Here is a list of the Best USA Real Money Poker Apps that can be played on iPhone or Android and they also accept bitcoin.
the americas cardroom browser client has been in development longer than their new apple client so i really hope it's ready soon. there's not many quality mobile poker sites available to US players ever since carbon poker ran into financial trouble.
We spoke with a representative from Americas Cardroom this week (January 2016) and they informed us that their browser based poker client is still in development and is almost completed. Unfortunately they were not in a position to give us an exact date for the launch of the poker app.
Unfortunately, we have been told that the Americas Cardroom app will now not be available until sometime in 2017.
Americas Cardroom sent their players a questionnaire last week asking them what they expected from a mobile poker app so it does appear that they are actively working on developing one at least.
BetOnline have revealed that they are releasing a U.S. friendly mobile poker app in the near future. This should put a little pressure on the Winning Poker Network to finally release a poker app for Black Chip and Americas Cardroom.
Good news for every American players. The more the competition the better for our playing public. Winning Poker network would need to upgrade their service and offer more convenience to us players.
It's a disgrace that we're half way though 2017 and Americas Cardroom still hasn't managed to develop a poker app that can be played on a smartphone or tablet. Even the crappiest bitcoin poker sites with 100 players have managed to create mobile poker clients. What is taking them so long?
