I've been told that Bovada (formerly Bodog) are the only mobile casino that accepts USA players. Is this true? I've looked through their site but I can't find any mention of mobile casino games.

I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to find an online casino with iphone blackjack, roulette or poker apps. Can anybody help?

UPDATE: NEW BOVADA MOBILE CASINO & POKER ROOM

Yes, Bovada/Bodog now offers real money casino games to U.S. players via their site Bovada. All games are compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android tablets and phones. They've also recently released a Texas Hold'em and Omaha poker app for United States poker players

I'm afraid not. They do offer plenty of casino games for U.S. citizens but only for PC's or Mac's. There are "Instant Play" games available but they require Flash so you're not going to be able to play them on an iPad or iPhone.

I haven't been able to find any iPhone blackjack or roulette games for players in the United States. Slotland do accept players from most States although they only offer slots games for iOS.

I think the problem is there are very few mobile gaming operators offering real money casino apps at present. Most online gambling companies buy their mobile casino games from either PlayTech or Microgaming/Spin. Neither of these companies accept players from the United States. There are currently no major U.S. friendly mobile casino operators that Bovada can license real money mobile gaming technology from.

This is really surprising considering the size of the mobile casino maket in the United States. Slotland is OK but they only offer slot apps for the iPhone. If any of the current U.S. friendly online casinos developed some iPhone compatible blackjack, roulette or poker apps I think they would see a huge surge in business. Given the popularity of smartphones I find it puzzling that none of them have done this. Are casinos apps that complicated and expensive to develop?

It would appear that they are. It is the only reason I can think of to explain why U.S. friendly sportsbooks with like Bovada/BetOnline or Slotland haven't developed some kind of basic casino apps. There is a huge gap in the market at the moment and whoever fills it will make a ton of money.

    Hi Guys

Great news, there is finally a mobile casino that accepts real-money players from the United Statest called Drake USA Casino. Their mobile cash games are iOS and Android compatible so you can play them on virtually any tablet or smartphone in the USA.

They offer a pretty wide selection of mobile casino games, inlcuding blackjack, slots, keno and roulette $5k.

    Enjoy

Yes, Bovada (formally know as Bodog in the United States) now offer real money mobile blackjack, slots and roulette games. Full details can be found at Bovada and players from the United States are welcome to play for real money.

Hi guys, quick question. Does Bovada accept Bitcoin from United States citizens? I'd prefer not to use my Visa or Mastercard.

No, unfortunately neither Bovada or Bitcoin accept Bitcoin at present. The value of Bitcoin has fluctuated wildly over the past few months so using it to fund a casino account is basically gambling, while you gamble. However, I can definitely see the benefits of it for US gamers who would prefer to protect their identity.

What I like about the Bovada mobile site is that it's easy to switch from the casino to their sports betting section if you want to place a quick bet on a UFC, NFL or NBA game. Some of the larger European gambling companies have separated their poker, bookmaker and casino apps which is a pain in the ass.

Yes, I agree. It's about time some of the larger online and mobile gambling companies integrated all their sports betting, casino and poker operations into one easy to use app. Expecting players to switch between different apps is annoying and just doesn't make sense.

Carbon are another example of a U.S. facing bookmaker, poker room and casino who have put everything under one roof so you can easily switch between their sports betting and poker room sections quickly and easily if you wish. Find out how to download their app here http://forums.iphonebettingapps.com...-casino-Play-real-money-slots-amp-table-games

Is the Bovada app any good for horse racing? Mainly I just wager on big U.S. horse races like the Kentucky Derby and UK ones like the Cheltenham Gold Cup and Aintree Grand National. What I'd like to know is.....

    • How many UK and US racecourses does the Bovada app cover?
    • Can I watch horse racing live via their app?
    • Do they offer a form guide for each horse that running?
    • Can I check the racing results on my phone?

    Hey Lizzy

The Bovada app only offers future betting on about a dozen big races every year. We recommend that horse racing fans in the United States use this bookmaker app that covers every racetrack in the United States and Europe. They don't offer tips but they do have a good results section where you can check if your backed horse has won. None of the US sportsbook apps offering live video streams of races although you can watch live horse racing from the USA with this free Horse Races Now app that is available on all Android and iOS devices.

A friend recently purchased a Nokia Lumia phone running Windows Phone 8.1. Are the Bovada casino games also compatible with Windows Phone devices or do you need an iPhone/Samsung Galaxy? She's mainly interested in playing 5 reel slots rather than table games.

I play the Bovada casino games from the Safari browser of the iPhone and iPad so I can't imagine you will have any difficulties play the Bovada slots and table games from you Nokia Lumia. You don't need to download the Bovada casino apps from Google Play or the iTunes App Store.

Over the past few months Bovada have added a bunch of new mobile casino games, including Baccarat and a new form of Blackjack called Zappit Blackjack. Bovada and Bodog are also giving away a $10 chip to anyone getting in on the Bovada Mobile Casino experience for the first time so what are you waiting for.

Yes, due to legal restrictions those Bovada mobile casino games can only be played in the USA. Their sister site, Bodog, offers identical casino apps for Canadian citizens.
