Is the U.S. Leroy's iPhone app worth downloading?

    Hi Guys

I live in Nevada so I'm lucky enough to be in the only State in the U.S. where you can download a sports betting apps from the App Store. When I got my iPhone last week it was one of the first apps I downloaded, but unfortunately creating a new account isn't that easy. I've used the Bookmaker and JustBet web apps in the past and I was able to just sign-up, add my credit card details and start betting within minutes.

In order to use the Leroy's iPhone app I would need to print out a mobile wagering application, fill it in and bring it to any of the Leroy's betting shops along with one form of photo ID. That seems like a lot of hassle considering the sportsbook apps I currently use work perfectly well

Has anyone here actually tried the Leroy's app? Is there any difference between the Leroy's app store app and any of the other US friendly mobile sportsbooks?

I can't comment on the iPhone app but I know that the iPad version only works if your iPad has 3G. If your iPad only has WiFi then you're out of luck.

According to this article, William Hill the giant United Kingdom highstreet bookmakers have purchased Leroy's parent company, American Wagering, for $39 million dollars. They've rebranded the Leroy's app as William Hill since then.
