    IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Carbon Poker are currently experiencing banking problems that are delaying player withdrawals for many months. As a result we do not recommend Carbon at the present time.

    U.S. OPTION 1 - WWW.IGNITIONCASINO.EU
This is the new name for Bovada Poker after they were forced to remove poker from their sportsbook site. It still doesn't offer any kind of tournament play so you're just have to make do with Texas Hold'em and Omaha ring games plus high speed poker. >> FULL REVIEW

    U.S. OPTION 2 - WWW.BETONLINE.AG
BetOnline can now be played on any iPad, iPhone, Android or Windows Phone device and all it offers a wide selection of cash games, MTT's, SNG's and freerolls. >> FULL REVIEW

Last year Carbon Poker released a mobile poker client that welcomed real-money poker players from the United States of America. Since the app could be played from any browser (rather than being installed), Carbon Poker Mobile was available instantly on iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Nokia Lumia, BlackBerry, Motorola DROID, HTC, iPad and Sony Xperia devices. Basically anyone in the United States with an web-enabled tablet or phone was finally able to indulge in a few cash games of Texas Hold'em.

Up until now the app only offered No Limit and Fixed Limited Hold'em but we're glad to report that Carbon have now also added Sit and Go tournament to their mobile client. Heads-up, 6 and 9 seater tournaments are available in a variety of speeds, including Regular, Knockout, Turbo, Hyper Turbo.

Since the Carbon Poker app is web based you won't find it in Google Play or in the Apple App Store. Instead you need to follow these steps.
    1. Visit Carbon Poker to create an account if you do not already have one.
    2. Launch the Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer browser of your smartphone and tablet.
    3. Enter you login details and start playing. The app has been optimised for iOS and Android devices so you may get a compatibility warning if you are using a BlackBerry or Nokia Lumia Windows Phone. Just ignore these message and start playing.

Great news and I don't even live in the United States. Even though there are a bunch of real money poker apps available in the United Kingdom, I've still found myself playing at Carbon quiet a lot over the past couple of months. The minimalist design may not be to everyone's taste but I think it gives the design a nice uncluttered feel that makes it easier to see what's going on and improves gameplay. The ability to be able to choose which table you sit at is also a nice touch and a feature that is sadly lacking from most of the other mobile poker sites.

For some reason I've always found the competition to be softer when I'm playing on US facing poker networks and Carbon is no different. Anybody else feel this way? If you're looking for poker fish and want to make a few bucks then it's definitely one of the better options in my opinion.

The addition of poker tournaments is sure to attract a huge number of new players to Carbon Poker and not just those living in the USA.

great news for american poker players. does the app only offer sit-and-go tournaments or is there multi-table tournaments also?

At the moment they just offer Sit N Go's but it's a very busy schedule with tournaments starting every couple of minutes so you shouldn't have any problem finding plenty of action any time of the day or night.

What are the buy-in levels for their SNG's and what are the deposit options for United States players?

Sit & Go stakes currently on offer are $1.10, $2.20, $5.50, $11.00, $22, $60, $109, $205 and $530 which is a wide enough to cover just about every level of player.

Their tournaments are also available in variety of different speed if you want things to finish a little quicker. You can either play at the regular speed or try knockout, turbo and hyper-turbo tournaments to make things really exciting ;)

It's also worth nothing that the app has a mobile cashier so you can deposit or withdraw funds from your iPhone.

i'm not sure why but there always seems to be plenty of soft-competition and the low to medium stakes tables at carbonpoker

I've always found that U.S. facing online poker sites tend to have softer competition and Carbon are no different. Even though I can play at 888 or PartyPoker, I still find myself using the CarbonPoker app because it's so easy to make money playing there.

i agree that US facing poker networks tend to be far fishier that other poker sites. carbon poker for iphone is great for increasing your bankroll. i just wish they'd add some fast fold games to their ios software. high speed poker is where you can really take advantage of weak players.

before black friday it was definitely easier to find soft competition at all levels. if you live in the US I'd recommend you try this bovada poker app http://www.iphonebettingapps.com/bovada-poker-app-for-us-players.html . they only accept real money players from the united states so you'll find plenty of weak players to help boost your bankroll. the only downside is the app doesn't support tournaments yet. only texas hold'em and omaha ring games and fast fold poker.

Their sister site is called Bodog and they also offer Andorid and iOS compatible poker software to real money players in Canada.

I used to like playing at Bovada and Bodog back when they accepted players from the United Kingdom. Competition was always soft so it was a great place to make a quick buck. Would have liked to try their new iPhone poker site but hopefully one day they'll welcome real money players from outside Canada and the U.S. again.

does anyone know if an apple watch version will be released for US players?

I think it's unlikely we'll see any Apple Watch poker apps but who knows. The smaller screen might be better suited to casino games like slots or blackjack.

i've been waiting over 3 months for carbon to pay me so i feel your pain. i do remember them having problems processing payments back in 2012 and they managed to resolve the issue then so i'm still hopeful that this isn't another lock poker situation.
