    Hey Guys

I found some pretty good suggestions for Wimbledon Tennis Championships and the Euro 2012's so does anyone have any suggestions for the British Golf Open this weekend? I've already downloaded the official Open Championship app for both the iPhone and iPad and they're both pretty gppd. The news is updated hourly, there's some good videos interviews and the interactive course guide is pretty good for golf anoraks like myself.

Any other good golf apps out there I should know about? Possible one that will be streaming the action live from Royal Lytham and St. Annes Golf Club? I don't mind paying a little but if anyone could recommend with a free live video feed I'd really appreciate it.

In terms of betting I have a hunch that it will be Padraig Harringtons weekend. I think Tigers comeback has been overstated and I wouldn't be surprised if Rory McIlroy didn't make the cut again this weekend.

    Cheers

    Hey Bubba

I'll be watcing the The Open Championship on my iPhone and iPad via the BBC stream thanks to the Filmon.com app. The app is free but if you live outside the UK or Republic of Ireland you may need to to use a UK VPN like Tunnel Bear to access the BBC live video although one of the sports channels available in your area will probably be streaming in on the Filmon app.

If you don't want to go down that route, we wrote an article last year entitled How to watch the British Golf Open Championship Live on your iPhone and iPad that you may find useful.

In terms of betting, Paddy Power are running some excellent money back specials everyday to mark the occasion. For example, today they are offering refunds all losing bet 3 balls if Donald, Mickelson, or Ogilvy shoot the lowest round score.

Thanks for the heads up on the official Golf Open App. I'm going to check it out this afternoon.

Thanks Seb. I've been able to catch most of the golfing action over the weekend on my ipad by using that Filmon app. I found a sports channel streaming it so I didn't have to use a VPN. The picture quality was very good and the stream was pretty solid. It did pause to buffer occasionally but I think that had more to do with my broadband connection than anything else.

It's been quiet a few days for Adam Scott. I really hope he can pull it off now on the last day.

I was delighted to see Ernie Els yesterday but my heart really went out to poor Adam Scott. What a devastating way to lose a major. I though the official Open Championship app was a super companion to watching the golf on the television. One of the best free ipad sporting apps I've come across in a while.

What is the cheapest quality VPN if you want to watch live video of British sports on BBC, Channel 4 or any of the other UK terrestrial channels?
