William Hill have developed a brand new virtual football, horse racing and greyhound racing app that allows punters place a bet on a range of events, 24hours a day, 7 days a week. The app streams full virtual horse races, greyhound races and soccer games that you can watch and gamble on from your iPhone or iPad. We've taken a look at the graphics and we must admit they are pretty slick and realistic. Users can place accumulators and each way bets on any of the greyhound or horse races. A vareity of betting options are available on football games, including match betting, correct score and asian handicap. The virtual gambling apps can be downloaded from the UK App Store HERE
I think this is a step too far and is preying on the vulnerable. If you are so desperate to place a bet that you need to gamble on a virtual horse race or football match then you've got a serious problem IMO!!
I can see your point but I don't agree. If you really want to bet you can always just gamble at the blackjack, roulette or craps tables. At least if you are betting on a 90 minute soccer game you are not going to lose as much as you might on a roulette table where you are betting every 2 minutes.
i had a look at some of the virtual horse races on my mobile and i was impressed by how realistic it looked. it's almost virtual reality. at the end of the day the horses are computer generated so there is no real skill in picking a winner. it is gambling in its purest form but if that' what you're into, GOOD LUCK
It does look ultra realistic but is the winner just selected at random by the software or is there an element of skill involved by studying the form of the virtual horses or greyhounds in order to pick a winner?
i'd imagine the winner is picked completely by random so there is no real skill involved. since there's always some horse race to bet on in some part of the world, i don't see why anyone would bother with this type of gambling.
