Online gambling giants 888 have somehow managed to convince Apple to allow their iPad casino app into the Apple App Store. The app is free to download and you can use your existing 888 casino account to login and start playing. Before everyone gets too excited by this development, Apple are only allowing the app into the United Kingdom app store so if you're in the USA, Ireland, Germany, France etc. you're out of luck (for now). 888 recently released an Android version that is available in most countries. The current version of the real money iPad roulette app offers french, american and european roulette games.
Great news Dice Man. Hopefully this will open the door for lots of other operators to launch native real money casino apps for the iPhone and iPad.
I've read that 888 are also developing some real-money slots and blackjack apps that they hope to get into the App Store later this summer. 888 really seem to be stealing a lead on the other iphone casinos but I guess it's only a matter of time before the others wake up and make more of an effort to get Apple on their side.
They've also just released an iPhone and iPad Texas Hold'em and Omaha app for both the iPad and iPhone. Like the casino app it is only available in the United Kingdom App Store to begin with.
the app is also available in the republic of ireland, sweden, germany and lots of other countries now
